I would like to add a field to the body of an email on the Compose Email function from a Task record

Yes, you are talking about email client. In order to make changes to the template, you need to create a template of your own on the table you want.   Go to Client Templates module and create a new template as shown below.Here are the screenshots of a sample client template I have created on sc_task table to include the task number in the body of the email.

That is the out of box feature. You should see on your instance too. Which release are you on?

Hello Abhinay, we are on helsinki patch 1 (before in eureka ui 14), i tried in ui 15 and ui 16. Maybe something didnt got updated.


Do you know where i need to check ?
