Email Layout not carrying out to email

Hi ,

I've configured a email layout for customer image and background image, added it to a template.

When i use preview it is showing correctly. But when the notification is triggered not showing in the outlook.

How does it appear in Outlook?  Is it sending in plain text instead of HTML?

It is sending everything as expected , except background image.

Is your notification connect to your email template?

I've had a similar problem where the html looks fine at the email layout level but when I generate a sample notification the code doesn't render correctly. Try connecting your notification & template to one of the OOB layouts to make sure that the issue is in fact your layout. If it is in fact your layout, I'd try some of the suggestions here: https://community.servicenow.com/community?id=community_question&sys_id=59548369dbd8dbc01dcaf3231f96196f

Thanks for the response.

Actually my layout is attached to template and displaying when i preview the notification. But not in Outlook mail.

I've tried even using OOB Layout. Just placed background-image instead background-color.But no luck.

Did you use background image in your case?

When  i use color coming fine but not for image.
