Email notification for incident created is not working.

Hi all,

 

I am trying to create a email notification for when an incident is created. However, the email notification is not being sent. If you can please help me with this. Attached the screenshot as below. if you can please let me know what is that I am doing wrong in this instance. I am new to the servicenow world.

 

Note: Requested for field here is the caller_Id field.

Hi @neenashankar 

 

If you trying in PDI, then email inbound / outbound will not work due to security constraint. If in client instance, check the email properties.

Hi Atul, thank you so much for your quick response. However, the notification is not even showing up on outbox. All my other incidents are showing up on outbox

Hi @neenashankar,

 

Did you see my response and the point re the 'Send to event creator' checkbox? Are you sending it to the same person who raised the request? Either yourself or the person you may be impersonating when raising the Incident?

please remove requested for by caller and try.
