Email Notification-Incident assigned to group

Hello all,

Currently in place is a email notification for when an incident is assigned to a group. In the "Who will receive", assignment group is set to receive these notifications. I have created a seperate email notification for when an incident is assigned to a specific group and   this time the "Who will receive" is set to the group: abc. When testing this, I saw both emails are being triggered: the generic one for all incidents and the one for this specific group.

Is there any way to exclude this particular assignment group from the generic email notification for "Incident assigned to group" in order to avoid them getting two separate emails?

Hi Nunez,

for avoid the 'incident assigned to group' notification can you please inactive this notification(OOB).

other wise we can put the condition in   "when to send" section for example   "assignment group isnot   abc"

at that time you get only one notification.Thanks

I modified the condition to "assignment group is not abc" and that worked. Thank you!

There is already OOB notification available for incident. Open that and in 'when to send ' condition you can give

Assignment group is not your group.
