Email notifications are flying out from DEV to the end users. For eg: If impersonating as an ITIL user the user is getting notification "An incident is opened on behalf of you" like this. why is this happening?

Hi,

You would need to disable system properties to stop those notifications from going to users.

Below are the system properties you would need disable,

Look at Email Properties in the dev instance.

"Email sending enabled" is set to true and "Send all emails to this test address" is probably empty.

Either you set "Email sending enabled" to false or enter an email address in the property "Send all emails to this test address"

Hi

the reason is that in your DEV email sending is activated.

You should better switch this off or redirect all outgoing email to a functional mailbox.

Kind regards
Maik
