I am working on email notifications in the (Emails section under system logs showing email was sent ) but i didnt get the actual mail

Is this in your PDI (personal developer instance)? If so, PDIs do not actually send any email notifications. More information here: https://developer.servicenow.com/blog.do?p=/post/sending-emails-from-pdis/

If this is a sub-production instance, it is likely that email sending is either disabled or it is configured to send to a test email address. You can verify in your instance by navigating to System Mailboxes > Administration > Email Properties:

I have already changed the properties and enabled the email sending still not receiving the actual email by the user but in system logs it is showing email was sent

here are couple of things you can check:
- check if email sending enabled from email properties.
- check User mailbox (spam, junk or trash...)
- check if user has any delegates assigned.
