Email properties question

Hi All,

I have a quick question, if in a testing instance, within the email properties the flag "Email sending enabled" is = false,

When an email in the log is created, will it display as "send-ready" type? or should show as "sent" type? I assumed it will display as "sent" only in a production instance and when the "Email sending enabled" is = True", is that correct or am I wrong? Thanks

If Email sending is disabled, the email log will show send-ready. As soon as you turn on the email sending, it will send all the emails and the type will be changed to sent.

Hi @Community Alums

In PDI , emails are restricted which means incoming and outgoing email will not work. There is post available on community which help you to configure the Gmail server in PDI and then you can test. This post written by Mathhew.
