Email sent visible in Activity list

Hi,

 

How we can add emails sent in the Activity list in incident form.

I have already added in the list like this.

But still some of the emails is missing from the activity list in the from. Like emails which sent out after comments added in incident. Please help me what else I am missing. Kindly advise.

can you confirm the email which is not showing, are they sent from the service-now?

check the in email logs (System Logs >> Emails) and search for that email which has been triggered, was that record "type" is showing you sent.

Hi Maneesh,

 

Can you confirm if the comments field is available for the Users for whom the Mails does not show up in Activity. I guess, field visibility, updation would be one of the cause.

Hit Helpful or Correct on the impact of response.

And remember, the mail isn't visible in the activity log until it actually been sent. So if it's still in the outbox waiting for being sent, it isn't showing in the log. Easy to miss for example in the dev environment where you might have turned off the "send" functionality.
