I’m looking for guidance on designing Change policies in ServiceNow that allow developers to bypass the standard CAB for urgent/critical deployments (e.g., Sev1 incidents, security patches) while maintaining governance and audit trails
How do you handle emergency changes effectively
Do you use a separate emergency CAB, delegated approvals, or automated eligibility checks?
Any best practices for mandatory fields, post-implementation review, or limiting bypass misuse?
