Employee Center Topics (Mega Menu)

Hello! Is it possible to make the Topic mega menu in the employee center reflect one layer of the taxonomy? For example, we have the following for one topic....

  • IT
    • Application Support Services
      • Service A
      • Service B
      • Service C

When a user clicks on the IT Mega Menu, we only want "Application Support Services" to be displayed, and not the child services underneath. Any guidance would be great. Thanks!

Hi there,

Would you like to have that applied for your whole taxonomy, or only for 1 specific Topic where the child Topics should not be shown?

Out-of-the-box such is not configurable. You can hide the child Topics through CSS though. This would be for all child Topics, not for 1 specific Topic.

Else you need to edit the widget. Is that worth it?

Kind regards,
Mark

Hey @Mark Roethof we would like to do it for all Child Topics. Do you have an example of the CSS you mentioned?

I will try to reproduce later tonight. Or you can have a look yourself using this method:

Hi Mark,

Can we show only parent topics as vertical order in the mega menu and onclick of parent topic need to show it's child topics on the right side of the parent topics?

I have a requirement to show child topics only when click of parent topics! Please suggest anything if you know the solution for this!

Thanks!
