Can someone please outline the steps to enable auditing on the below field, I know there is doco on this however everything I look at seems to be different and seems way to complex so I need to know the correct way to do this.

Table name = alm_asset

Field/Column Name = Assigned

Hi scotty88,

I see that the dictionary record for the 'assigned' field on 'alm_asset' has an attribute 'No audit' set to true. You can try deleting that or setting to 'false'.

I had to delete that attribute to get that field audited.

So are you saying delete the entire attribute "edge_encryption_enabled=true,no_audit=true" or just "no_audit=true"

Also in the list view their is a column 'audit' which is false, does this need to be changed to 'true'?

Hi Scotty88,

I deleted just the one attribute "no_audit=true", I tried setting to false but that didn't work. The dictionary record form has a related list of both. I deleted it from there.

Hi @Scotty88 ,

Go to https://dev157880.service-now.com/now/nav/ui/classic/params/target/sys_dictionary_list.do%3Fsysparm_... (Change dev157880 to your instance). That will get you:

Open the alm_asset for "assigned", look at the attributes related list, and delete the attribute:
