Enter New 'Services' Data into cmdb_ci_service Table and Replace Old Data
Hi Guys,
What is the most practical, straight forward approach for me, if I want to load all new 'Services' data for a client, into their current cmdb_ci_service Table and fully replace, the current 'Services' data they use ?
I assume I need to bring in the new Services data using a Transform Map, from the Excel spreadsheet we have populated?
Do I first delete the previous 'Services' data then import the new data set, as I do not want the old Services data in the Table.
I assume I can first Export the XML of the current Services data, so that I retain a backup, prior to deleting the old data, then uploading the new Services data via the Transform Map.
Is this the correct approach - have you guys had to do this before and can recommend an approach?
