Error: GlideMobileExtensions is not allowed in scoped applications

Hello, 
We have a record producer in a scoped application, and in the script we have used GlideMobileExtensions and when we access it from the portal, on submitting the form we are getting "GlideMobileExtensions is not allowed in scoped applications" error message. 
I created a cross scope privilege as below- 
Source Scope - Custom Application

Target Scope - Global
Target Name - GlideMobileExtensions
Target Type - Scriptable 
Operation - Execute API

Status - Allowed

But I am still getting the error message, Does anyone know how I can fix this issue.

Did you try clearing instance cache using cache.do?

If it still doesn't work then it means it's not allowed from platform level.
