Error message if the Assignment group is not filled in before pressing the X button.

Upon creating an Incident on back of a case using the 'Create an Incident' button, an Incident gets inserted even if the Assignment group field is blank. An error message should pop-up when the X button is pressed to close the incident form when the Assignment group is Empty. What approach do I take? Thanks in advance.

did you try making the assignment group as mandatory field when the incident form loads?

Hi Ankur, As you see in the screesnhot, the Assignment group is mandatory. However, the current setup allows the users to just press the X button and come out of the form without filling in the Assignment group. The issue is that, upon pressing the 'Create incident' button, the Insert happens in first hand (Incident is created and saved in the incident table). Hence we need an error to pop-up to stop users from pressing the X button without the Assignment group.
