Hi,
If I activate this plugin and the emails are archived or deleted.
Does this affect the visibility in the Activities? for example on the INC table?
If mails are deleted after a year, I suspect that after a year you can no longer trace what may have been in a mail and why something was done.
The same probably applies to the traceability for the execution of an approval, if the approval was made by a mail.
I would also like to know if an attachment was attached to the target record by mail via inbound.
Is the attachment copied or does the attachment then hang in the MAil record and the target record so double storage capacity.

Hi @Meloper ,
Yes, if you activate the Email Retention plugin in ServiceNow, the emails will be archived or deleted according to the retention rules that you have defined.
This will affect the visibility of the emails in the Activities section of the INC table, If the emails are deleted, you will no longer be able to see them in the Activities section.
The same applies to the traceability for the execution of an approval. If the approval was made by a mail, and the mail is deleted, you will no longer be able to see the approval in the Activities section.
If an attachment was attached to the target record by mail via inbound, the attachment will be copied to the target record. The attachment will not be deleted when the mail is deleted.
This means that the attachment will take up storage space in both the mail record and the target record.
