Whenever I view a list of any table, I do not see the option to export that list. The screenshots should help understand what I'm referring to.

Can you go to UI context menu and check whether it is active?

Yeh, it's exactly like the above. But that did not solve the problem.
I managed to find the solution. It had to do with a missing group "Reporting and Analytics". Not sure if that's an out-of-the-box group though.
