External users are not able to view portal categories

Hi All,

Our external users are unable to view categories on the sc_category page to log requests. They have access to the pages etc. but they still can't see the categories for some reason. Is there an ACL we must update because we thought it is just the 'Can view' criteria that needs to be updated to allow them to see.

Hi Rachna,

By design external users are not allowed to view any company data for security reasons since they are external to the organization.

Check for any user criteria added in the Available for related list in the Category form
