Field Style on Dot Walking fields?

Attempting to duplicate the VIP 'Caller' functionality seen on the Incident list to the 'Requested For' field on Catalog Task & Requested Item lists.

As Field Styles do not seem to support dot walking is there another way to accomplish this without adding a new field to each of these tables?
