Field styles filling the whole field

How are field styles configured to fill the whole field. I have added RAG statuses to a field which is indicated with a dot in Dev. But exactly the same field style in Test shows the whole field coloured. Yes there must be an anomaly across environments but how is this configured?

Hi Richard,

It looks like you have the Modern cell coloring option enabled for your Dev instance which is the reason why the field style coloring appears in the form of a colored dot. However, if this feature is disabled, the field style coloring appears on the complete field, like you have it on your Test instance.

You can update/modify this setting by clicking on the Gear icon in the List Layout and selecting/deselecting the Modern cell coloring option.

Hi,

Go to : https://yourinstance.service-now.com/sys_ui_style_list.do   and configure style as "background-color:color name" for your table/flied name.

Thanks for the response, the field styles are the same in both environments. See post above, it appears to be a user preference.
