I have created a location field referring to cmn_location in table, I have selected one value and saving the form then it is not saving with that value and location field value is automatically clearing itself. please help here!
An onChange client script will change a value on the page for sure. However, saving the value requires write access so the ACL for write access is likely the issue.
Did you check whether there are any after update br or client script which might be clearing the value or which might be setting the Location value based on other field.
