File Attachment" type field, cannot be updated

Hi,

 

On the form screen, there is a field of type "File Attachment".
(This is the area circled in red.)

When I click on the "UPDATE" button in this field, nothing happens. (The screen to select the attachment cannot be displayed).

What are the possible causes?

Also, how can I investigate the cause?

Better to contact Now Support. It seems to be a particular problem that I can't replicate.

One thing that can be tried is to create a attachment field to see if the problem exists on that new field too.

If it does, try creating a new form with attachment field to see if it's common to all attachment fields in an instance or just to that particular form.

What is meant by this? There's no need to dot-walk on File Attachment field. Just enter the Label and Name on the field.

I'm sorry for my poor explanation.

This is the field that is displayed on the "cmdb_ci_ip_router" form, as shown in the image below.

Oh, it's field inherited from a parent table.

 

Seems to the similar problem as this thread except the thread is just for non-admin. Still, try clearing the cache (cache.do) and check scope?
