Filter on data table widget disappears if quick filter buttons are clicked

Hello team,

Did anyone worked on enabling the filter on data table instance on a widget by passing "enable_filter =true" in the widget. But I have also added few buttons on the same portal page but on a different widget.

Those buttons are basically quick filters (mainly encoded queries on the data table instance ). Whenever we click one of the buttons, the edit filter icon disappears from the data table.

Please suggest if anyone has worked on something similar and if there is a way to make it visible all the time.

I have attached 2 images, one showing the filter and another showing the buttons. Both are on same portal page.
