Add a field from another table in a report

Hello all,

I have a requirement in which I would need to include a field from change table under "Event to display" field in the reports module.

Under planned start date, I would need another field to be displayed as "outage required" from change table. How can I achieve this ?

Hello Prabha,

 

don't believe there is way to modify it; hope, you are trying to build calendar type report since the "Event to Display" element only shows dropdown list of Date/Date Time fields.

 

If you create a field Date/Date Time, it will by default shown in the dropdown list.

Hi @Manoj89 thanks for your reply but what I'm trying to create will be a field that answers 'yes' or 'no'. Outage required? --> this is the field with dropdown yes or no. To quickly see the report they can directly select yes/no and generate report from the left panel. How can I do this ?

I don't if you can achieve exactly what you are trying but this is an alternative way

 

Create a main report with pie chart (anything you would like) and set to group by Outage required

 Create a drill down of type Calendar, hope you know already something about drill downs so I am not explaining that here

Hi @Hemamani Prabha ,

 

This is not a possibility. You can dot-walk from the chosen table, but if there is no reference on the original table to the table / field that you would like to show, then it's not possible.
