Flow Designer - Submit Catalog Item Request - Unable to set list collector type

I have a catalog variable that is of list collector type that is not letting me assign values (it is showing as read-only.)

I should use the flow designer which basically extracts the values from the currently submitted catalog item and use those values in submitting another catalog item. The list collector field values in both the catalog items should be mapped.

Do you have any example of how I can set the values in using an action?

What custom script should I use to populate the values in this field type?
PS: I've tried using cart API in custom action to submit the catalog item request but it's not working here as well.

Out of the box Submit Catalog Item Request action doesn't support list collector
