Flow Designer Update Multiple Records not working when nullifying fields

This is working in my PDI instance but not in our actual DEV instance. Both with Vancouver version but different build number. Anyone encountered same issue?

Workaround: We do a lookup records and do loop and single update record. But wanted to avoid multiple queries hence wanted to use this step.
