Form being submitted without mandatory fields filled in

On the new_call table users are able to save the form without the mandatory fields being completed. i.e. when clicking on new call and clicking on create task it re-directs to the call type tale e.g. incident, service request. However, this can be done without the mandatory fields being filled out on the form. I have checked any UI actions and policies but can't see anything that will be causing this. Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

Hi ashfaq,

How are the mandatory fields being enforced? UI policies, data polices?

If it is a UI policy I would suggest using a data policy.

Thanks

Mark

Hi Mark,

Thank you for the prompt reply. I have tried both to no avail.

Hi,

So are you getting re-redirected to new form without mandatory fields being filled?

or user is saving/submitting the current record and mandatory fields message is not shown?

Mark Correct if this solves your issue and also mark Helpful if you find my response worthy based on the impact.
Thanks

Hi Ankur,

Yes. I am getting redirected to a new form without the mandatory fields being filled in. If the mandatory fields are filled in then it copies it across to the new form. What I want is if the mandatory fields are not filled in then it should not re-direct to the new form and should state that mandatory fields need to be filled in.

Thanks

Ash
