Formatting Catalog Variable Example Text

Hey,

we use the example text feature for some catalog variables. Now the customer complains that the color and font is too similar to the user input. Is there a way to change the color or font type of the example text?

Thank you!

you can try updating the page style like below. but this will update all the places where placeholders are available in portal so you need to be careful or find a way to only apply to that form.

Unfortunately this is only for mobile input fields. The Catalog Item is only used via web browser.

Hi, I know this post is quite old, but I have the same requirement and wanted to give it a try. Unfortunately, adding the CSS to the sc_cat_item page didn’t seem to take effect on my end. I was wondering if you might have done any additional configuration aside from the CSS? Thank you so much in advance!
