getDisplayBox Method

1) I had a custom field reference field referring to sys_table.

2) i wanted to create a alert with the field value selected in the reference field.

3) It was returning the sys_id.

4) i used the following code.

5) The second alert was giving me the exact value fow what i was looking.

6) My question is when i typed "g_form." in the options i could see "getvalue" but not "getDisplayBox".

7) is this method deprecated, what is the reason.

hi,

the script editor of servicenow is not displaying the method. But you can use it. it works fine.

It's not deprecated. i think servicenow has not documented it that's why if you search in glide form it will not be visible.
