Getting error:Failed to load PDF document, while opening the attachment

I am downloading a document from sys_attachment table .The file is getting downloaded but getting the error :Failed to load PDF document in servicenow. Content type: application/pdf in attachment table.
File is opening perfectly in DEV , error exists in TEST only

it clearly means the file is corrupted

how is the file attached? manually or getting added via some integration?

did you download that file in your laptop and try opening?

File is manually attached.
If I download that file in my laptop , I am able to see the pdf file in downloads, but is not getting opened in expeceted format. It shows the error: :Failed to load PDF

same file when uploaded by other user also shows the same error?

how is the file opened within platform?

are you using document viewer?
