glide.ui.reference.readonly.clickthrough system property

Hi

I'd like to make a field read-only (using ACL) and let the users able to look up the record by hovering over the 'magnifying glass'.

I'm aware that this can be done by enabling "glide.ui.reference.readonly.clickthrough" system property. This change will be applied system-wide, and this is not what I want. I just want this for the field(s) only.

Is there any way to achieve this?

Try adding readonly_clickthrough as an attribute to the dictionary entry of the field in question. See this community thread:
