global text search is not showing users*

Hi All,

When I searching with the userid ,Users is empty in global search in prod intance but same displayed in DEV instance .What might be the issue?

Any suggestions!

Hello Vimal,



If the user records are inactive then it wont be visible if you search via Global Search,



Please check using Users Administrations -> Users -> User id , Hope you will find the user record.

Hi VimalPriya,



Below thread should help you. In case the iser is inactive, then it will not apear in your search. If the User table itself is not appearing, try configurint "Search groups" and "Search tables".

User is active and search group is defined but still I am unable to get users in the search content in prod instance

Are you not able to search only specific users or all the users ?



Please check with sys propeties wheather global text search is Enable or not:



Go to sys properties: This property must be enable   glide.ui.text_search.enable and also check what roles do you have   wheather it is Admin or ITIL ?
