global text search is not showing users*

Hi All,

When I searching with the userid ,Users is empty in global search in prod intance but same displayed in DEV instance .What might be the issue?

Any suggestions!

Hi Abdul,



Unable to list down all users.



It is set to true and no roles has been set up for the property .



Also ,sys_user dictionary has the Text index true.


I would recommend you to crosscheck your dev & prod instance search groups is both are configured same or not.



Since you are not able to view the user records please check People & Pages record and check is there any roles restriction and whether search checkbox is true or not as shown below:

I would request you to go through 5.1 once, although it is prod instance i would recommend you to cross check with your leads before indexing:

Cross check if the property glide.ts.widget.top_search_tables contains the user table or not.

Both DEV and PROD has same list of tables.whereas DEV returns users list under people &places and no values returns for people &places in Prod.
