I have a report I created that is looking a sys_search_event and creating a list from the previous month, where the click rank is 0 grouped by similar search query. I'm going to have this report periodically sent out to the interested group as an email attachment for the group to review/discuss.
The problem is that while it will function, it would be best for the most commonly searched items without a click, so I have them grouped by Search Event. I would like to sort by search events quantity so the largest group shows first on the Excel file they are being emailed.
However when I click on the group sort options for the report design, they do not open.
If I try to go into the condition builder and add a sort, it only allows me to sort this field by a-z or z-a, not the group sort quantity.
If I add the report to a dashboard, THEN I can go into the group sort options and easily sort it by group descending.
Does anyone know what I have configured wrong that is preventing me from sorting this way in the report so that it emails out to the group in the format they prefer?
