HAM and Hardware Asset Portfolio are not the same in ServiceNow.
- HAM is a module in ServiceNow that provides a comprehensive view of all hardware assets in an organization. It tracks hardware assets from acquisition to disposal, and includes features for managing hardware inventory, warranty information, and asset lifecycle.
- Hardware Asset Portfolio is a view within HAM that provides a high-level overview of an organization's hardware assets. It shows the number of assets in each category, the total value of the portfolio, and the age of the assets.
HAM is a more comprehensive module that provides detailed information about hardware assets, while Hardware Asset Portfolio is a more high-level view that provides an overview of the hardware asset portfolio.
