I am trying to create a new playbook for my custom application. Even after following every step shown on the resources out there (YouTube videos, docs site), the playbook does not appear on my workspace.

I'm looking to make playbooks for my custom table and not incident or interaction... has anybody got this working ?

Here are all the sources I've already referred:

Hi @AnirudhKumar ,

Follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to All > Process Automation > Process Automation Designer.
  2. Select Create a New Process, fill in the details of the playbook (Make sure you select the your Custom Scope), and select Select a trigger.
  3. Select a trigger type from the dropdown menu
  4. On the Trigger, Table should your Custom Table :

5. Select Go to Designer.

Process Automation Designer is now opened.
6. Select Activate after creating the process to your specifications.
The playbook is now published to run when triggered.

Thanks Sandeep.

I tried this in my PDI and for some reason it doesn't seem to work. That's the reason I had to refer to all those YT vids to create Record generators, UI Builder page , etc.

Is it maybe that Playbooks do not work in PDI just like how Machine Learning models do not?

Thanks @Community Alums , please tell me that this is not documented by ServiceNow in its doc sites so I won't have to feel bad having wasted a whole week trying to make playbooks work on my PDI... ðŸ™‚
