I had to disable "always show top navigation" due to the watcher on history. San Diego or maybe just Non-NextUI didn't have a record watcher on the history navigation bar. What's happening, as you open more an more tabs with the navigation bar, you're introducing more and more watchers that are constantly updating as the history picks up views, not changes.
It's painful and there needs to be either a user level or platform level toggle/property to disable this.
