Header widget instance options

Is it possible to set up widget instance options in the header widget?
You're able to define them, but I'm unable to go in and edit the widget options as I would on any other widget.

Hi Vincent,
If you're talking about portal header menu, I think the only place where you do the configurations is under Portal >Menus > SP Header Menu. I believe this menu uses the 'Header Widget' and since it is an OOB, I'm not sure what options do we have to configure the widget itself. Can you tell me what are you exactly looking for?

The reason I'm trying to do this is to make use of the "options" flexibility in the header.
Although I realize the primary use of widget options is for repeatability, I've been using the options for lots of text values so I can change titles, descriptions, and even button text in a production instance without the need of a change record.
For this specific use case, I have an additional banner in the header that would show to certain users after a specific datetime value was populated. I wanted to control the value of the datetime to compare against as an option so I could change this date if needed without waiting for a production change window.

Hello Vincent,
header/footer widget in service portal cannot have widget options as they are only intended to display header and footer. they cannot be used as a reusable widget as in the case of other widgets.
