Hi all,

On our CSM portal, we have a "contact us" section where users can find some knowledge categories from the main knowledge base. When clicking some of these categories, we can see duplicate knowledge articles within the "Popular help articles" section. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening or had similar issue? Thanks in advance

Are you sure it's not due to duplicate knowledge entries? 

You can also check the code behind the popular help articles widget. Does it only show current, published versions, or does it just show the most used ones, which could mean that an old version is still on there.


Please mark any helpful or correct solutions as such. That helps others find their solutions.

@Mark Manders I don't see any duplicate knowledge entries, as you can see there are only different versions of that particular article. I will take also a look at the widget code.

@Mark Manders I also tried to open the two duplicate articles from the portal to compare them, but they seem to be both the same version and the most updated. Wonder why we are getting the same article displayed twice, quite weird...

Hi @Mark Manders I think I found the issue, apparently, it is showing an older version as duplicate. However what I am not sure still is why, do you reckon widget is using most used one? or any other suggestions why?
