Hide application menu for a group

Hi I have an application menu visible to analyst role...but I wish to restrict it to a user of particular group and make it visible to only one group.

 

Please help if it is achieved without creating a custom role.

OOTB the visibility of application and module work on role level. You can't set it for a particular group.

left nav module has role which indicates to whom it should be seen.

You cannot control the hidden logic from app menu role section

here is the workaround but I won't recommend this and please discuss with your customer and tech lead/architect

some solution shared here which you need to enhance from your side

Before Query business rule to hide an Application from user
