Hide “Awaiting Acceptance” State from Edit Button on Workspace View

I have a requirement where, when a user selects multiple records (bulk records) from the HR Agent Workspace view and clicks the Edit button to update them, the “Awaiting Acceptance” option should not be visible in the State field.

In other words, during bulk updates from the Workspace view, the “Awaiting Acceptance” state should be hidden  from the available state choices to prevent users from selecting it.

Please refer to the screenshots below for better clarity.

Kindly share the approach or best practices to proceed further with this requirement.

Hi @BhagyashriA This would be a global change, which means if this value is hidden, it will be hidden everywhere the state has been used. Since this is a bulk update, it is required to move the state for every request to Awaiting Approval.

@BhagyashriA

You cannot remove option from field only when Bulk Update form is opened.

Options:

-> remove that field from Workspace view so that it doesn't show up in Bulk update form

How to add a fields to bulk record update on list in Service Operation Workspace(or any other).

-> This below KB talks about the limitation I mentioned, no client script etc can run on that view which is opened when bulk update happens. It talks about using business rule to restrict

List Edits and SOW Bulk assign function ignor onChange client scripts scripts and rules implemented
