Hide disabled domains in domain picker

John Diaz
Kilo Guru

We have a number of disabled domains with no data on them. These domains could be deleted, but it sounds like it's very highly advised to NEVER delete domains.

If I could just hide them from the domain picker, that would be fine. Out of sight - out of mind..

Has anyone been able to figure out how to hide disabled domains from the domain picker?

We are running Helsinki Patch 8 if that helps..

Thank you!

Hello,

Maybe, this is late, but here's the workaround proposed by servicenow : : https://hi.service-now.com/kb_view.do?sysparm_article=KB0677381

Think to empty the cache before testing.

Best regards

blanc, do you know how I can toggle between the Reference picker and Select picker?

Yes,

You have to change the value of sys_properties "glide.ui.domain_reference_picker.enabled" from true to false. And maybe active UI Macro "domain_reference_picker" and unactive "domain_select". Depend on your version.

Did anyone find a solution to removing the inactive domains from the domain select picker?   Switching to the reference picker is not an option for us unfortunately.

a query business rule might help on the domain table

Query Business Rule works when viewing the Domain list view - but does not affect the domain picker at all.
