Hide disabled domains in domain picker

John Diaz

We have a number of disabled domains with no data on them. These domains could be deleted, but it sounds like it's very highly advised to NEVER delete domains.

If I could just hide them from the domain picker, that would be fine. Out of sight - out of mind..

Has anyone been able to figure out how to hide disabled domains from the domain picker?

We are running Helsinki Patch 8 if that helps..

Thank you!

Hello,

Maybe, this is late, but here's the workaround proposed by servicenow : : https://hi.service-now.com/kb_view.do?sysparm_article=KB0677381

Think to empty the cache before testing.

Best regards

Raja,

Were you successful with this method? I just tried it, and it still didn't work. I finally just opened up a HI ticket to see what they say. I'm currently running Kingston Patch 8, so there's no reason why that workaround in the KB article shouldn't work.

Hello John,

Yes, the method was successful, I needed only to empty the cache, by performing cache.do, for the pre-prod instance.

For my end, I couldn't perform the cache.do in production, so I have waited for about 4 hours, and disabled domains were no more visible.

Actually it worked.

You just have to wait few hours 😉

Same here Raja.

Didn't work here too.

We're using Jakarta Patch 9c.
