Hide picture from item form in portal

Hi everybody,

 

I've set up a picture for the item.

I'd like the picture to appear in my initial display of the item.

but I don't want the picture to appear on the item form itself.

is there any way to do this besides clone SC Catalog Item widget , edit and use it?
