Hi developers,

In Yokohama release, new query operation is added called "hierachical queries".

I configured it following docs like below image and executed query but it didn't work.

Is there anyone who can execute hierachical queries successfully?

docs: Building hierarchical queries

I can't get any result when using hierachical queries although there're records which parent is South America.

Similar story here. They even yanked the documentation.

Hey all, I just came across that topic now on my Zurich instance. It seems to be back on track? But still no documentation 😞

I must admit, that sounds really interesting.

Yeah! I just noticed yesterday that in a Zurich instance there are baseline records built out in the Record hierarchies module. Rad! The operators are available in the filter condition builder, and using them appears to generate a valid query. Unfortunately, I've yet to see it return any records when using such a query, but hopefully that's a combination of (1) me being a dolt, and (2) having crummy demo data.

I know documentation used to exist during the Yokohama release; I think they yanked it when they realized the feature itself wasn't ready to go. Hopefully once they're confident that the feature is ready, they'll just re-activate the documentation.

Update: I've found it a few weeks ago: Building hierarchical queries, might be that one!

Has anyone found this feature to be available in platform analytics components? It seems to work perfectly in the core UI list condition builder, but is absent in the platform analytics condition builder.

It solves a legitimate problem perfectly, but has very limited utility by only being available in the core UI.
