How can be the user should not receive notification for approval from his manager

Only one particular user should not receive notification for approval from his manager, how to add this condition in notification or else any help on this.

For example: Mani is a user so we don't want Mani to receive any kind of approval mails from his manager else every user should receive notification mails. so I want to add this one condition that only this particular user Mani should not receive notification mails.

But why, only 1 users? What is business justification? You can enable it via email preference (Not 100% sure)

How you triggering this notification and sending approval ? it is directly to group, user or any other way to dynamically select users for approval.
