How can I add a custom tab in the dashboard list in ServiceNow?

Hi Team ,

 

Currently, when we open Dashboards from the navigation, it shows tabs like "Owned by Me," "All," and "Recent."

I want to add one more custom tab (e.g., "Team Dashboards") to this list. Is there an out-of-the-box way to do this, or do I need to customize the widget or script?

If customization is required, what is the recommended approach?

If you didnt create the dash and dont have access to that level access then refer to your ServiceNow administrator . 

 

Now If you have a certail level of access you can COPY that dash then add another tab yourself as youll be the new owner. The problem with that is you may no longer get the future additional widgets or updates on your new dash, you have to go back to the old.   So the best advice is  - if you didnt create the dash - to see if you can get your team to agree on the new tab and have the admin do this  OR create a new dash on your own with only 1 tab.  The synchronizations issues i mentioned before is why I wouldnt merge these if you dont own them both.
