How can I add a custom widget to a dashboard in the performnace analytics workspace?

I'm in my PI running Yokohama and I'm trying to simply add a custom widget to my dashboard. Before I could just click the plus sign and add it, but now everything is different, and I don't see an option to add a widget. 

This is what I see now:

On that note, is there a way to just go back to the old dashboard view?

What do you mean by custom widget? A scripted content block?

In the new Platform Analytics dashboards you can't add such widgets and if you try to migrate a "legacy" dashboard to Platform Analytics, such widgets will appear in "compatibility mode".

What you can do is choose "Technical Dashboard" when creating the Platform Analytics dashboard. Such dashboards can be edited in UI builder, which allows a lot of customization. Yes, I believe you should still be able to use the Core UI dashboards on Yokohama. According to the latest communication, the Core UI reports & dashboards will be deprecated from the Australia release.
