What property causes a lot of users to be taken to the same page when logging onto ServiceNow?

In ServiceNow on one of our instances, what we have noticed that it takes a lot of the users to the Service Operations Workspace and the URL defaults to:

matthew_hughes_0-1793971082155.png

matthew_hughes_1-1793971104923.png

However, this is causing problems for test accounts that we create as part of AutomatePro because SOW doesn't have tabs in records and this causes out tests in AutomatePro to fail.

So I was just wondering if there is a System Property that I can update that will cause the landing page to be updated to the Platform Analytics Workspace when a user logs into ServiceNow.

Hi @matthew_hughes,

Yes, ServiceNow provides a system property called glide.login.home, which controls the landing page users are redirected to after successfully logging in to the instance. You can configure this property with the URL of the page you want users to access after login.

Important: Changing this property will affect all users who log in to your ServiceNow instance. They will be redirected to the same configured landing page.

For your reference, please go through the following documentation:

Specify a login landing page – Xanadu Platform Security – ServiceNow Documentation

Hi @Vishnu Surendra Thanks very much. However, at the moment that System Property is set to 'home_splash.do?sysparm_direct=true'

So I'm not too sure why users would be getting directed to now/sow/home
