I want to add Demand and Project tables like source to my Service Operations workspace search. I want to use short descriptions for searching the tickets. Currently this function is working for incidents and RITMs. Now I want to add Demands and Projects also.
Thanks,
Anil!

Is there any reason to add Demand and Project in the SOW search? What value does it bring? SOW is mainly for ITSM, not for Demand or Project. By adding these, you may be creating technical debt and widening the search scope, which could confuse users about what to search for.

Hi @AnilM99 ,
Here is the steps :
- Define a Search Source for each table
- In the Filter Navigator, type sys_search_source.list and press Enter.
- Click New.
- On the Search Source form, fill in the fields:
- Name: Enter a descriptive name (e.g., Demand Search Source).
- Table: Select the Demand (dmn_demand) table.
- Conditions: (Optional) Add any filter conditions records must satisfy to be searchable (e.g., State is not Closed).
- Click Submit.
- Repeat this process for the Project (pm_project) table.
- Link the new search sources to the Service Operations Workspace search configuration
- In the Filter Navigator, type m2m_search_context_config_search_source.list and press Enter.
- Click New.
- On the Application Search Sources form, fill in the fields:
- Source: Select the new Demand Search Source you created.
- Search context config: Select the record for your specific workspace application, typically named Service Operations Workspace Search Config or similar.
- Order: (Optional) Set an order to determine where this source appears in the search filter list.
- Click Submit.
- Repeat this process for the Project Search Source
