How can I add a hyperlink near a field in SOW

Before we started using Service Operations Workspace, the way I made it work was using g_form.showFieldMsg and manipulating the DOM in a client script, however in SOW, access to DOM is restricted.
Is there another way to make it work?
The requirement is that if the Caller_id has had a ticket opened in the past 72 hours with the same CI, then a message should appear near the CI field with a hyperlink to a KB article.
